ITSLIQUID Group è lieto di annunciare la call aperta per la quarta edizione di BARCELONA CONTEMPORARY 2025, una mostra internazionale di fotografia, pittura, video arte, installazione/scultura e arte performativa, che si terrà a Barcellona, presso ITSLIQUID Art Space – Barcelona, dal 10 al 19 maggio 2025.
BARCELONA CONTEMPORARY 2025 analizza la relazione tra corpo e spazio, e la ibridazione tra identità e contesti culturali/fisici/sociali/urbani nei tempi contemporanei, attraverso due sezioni principali: MIXING IDENTITIES e FUTURE LANDSCAPES.
MIXING IDENTITIES analizza le parti nascoste delle nostre identità, attraverso un’esperienza immersiva all’interno del affascinante universo dei complessi labirinti della nostra coscienza. Il corpo umano è un sistema in cambiamento che ci connette con altri corpi e spazi per percepire la realtà circostante; un forte sistema di comunicazione con un proprio linguaggio e infinite modalità di espressione.
FUTURE LANDSCAPES sono astratti, infiniti e concettuali, associati a un senso di libertà e di estensione infinita. Sperimentati principalmente con la mente, gli spazi ridefiniscono i loro limiti e confini, trasformando le superfici in un flusso aperto di idee pure. Questa sezione si concentra sul concetto di confini e strutture tra corpo, mente e anima, l’identità umana e la città, lo spazio e il suolo.

BARCELONA CONTEMPORARY 2025. Open call
ITSLIQUID Group is pleased to announce the open call for the 4th edition of BARCELONA CONTEMPORARY 2025, an international exhibition of photography, painting, video art, installation/sculpture and performance art, which will take place in Barcelona, at ITSLIQUID Art Space – Barcelona from May 10 to May 19, 2025.
BARCELONA CONTEMPORARY 2025 analyzes the relationship between body and space, and the hybridization between identities and cultural/physical/social/urban settings in contemporary times, through two main sections: MIXING IDENTITIES and FUTURE LANDSCAPES.
MIXING IDENTITIES analyzes the hidden parts of our identities, through an immersive experience inside the fascinating universe of the complex labyrinths of our consciousness. The human body is a changing system that connects us with other bodies and spaces to perceive the surrounding reality; a strong communication system with its own language and infinite ways of expression.
FUTURE LANDSCAPES are abstract, infinite and conceptual, associated with a sense of freedom and infinite extension. Primarily experienced with the mind, spaces redefine their limits and borders, transforming surfaces in an open flow of pure ideas. This section focuses on the concept of the borders and the structures between body, mind and soul, the human identity and the city, the space and the ground.
