La Royal Ballet School Antwerp ha annunciato la nascita, da settembre 2019, del Junior Ballet Antwerp di cui Alain Honorez sarà il coordinatore artistico e Patron artistico David Dawson. JBA è affiliato alla Royal Ballet School di Anversa come compagnia pre-professionale.
Il proprio scopo è dare una seria formazione classica a studenti di età compresa tra i 18 e i 21 anni, con la possibilità di fungere da ponte tra la scuola e la carriera professionale.
Si tratta di due anni in cui il JBA sarà un mix tra il programma formativo e l’esperienza di scena come compagnia.
Mentre la priorità è data all’esperienza scenica, con estese tournée nazionali di lavori creati espressamente per il JBA da coreografi emergenti e talentuosi, ci sarà anche un forte focus su workshop tenuti da docenti docenti e coreografi di caratura nazionale ed internazionale. Il fine è per offrire ulteriore sviluppo artistico ai danzatori e per massimizzare il potenziale unico di ciascuno con attenzione a guidarli nella loro carriera.
Poichè il JBA combina le funzioni sia della compagnia junior che del programma di training sarà necessario un piano di lavoro ed economico biennale .

Junior Ballet Antwerp Audition
On behalf of the Royal Ballet School Antwerp, we are delighted to announce as of September 2019 the launching of Junior Ballet Antwerp. Artistic Coordinator Alain Honorez; Artistic Patron David Dawson.
JBA is affiliated to the Royal Ballet School Antwerp as a pre-professional company.
Its aim is to give serious ballet-trained graduates ages 18-21 yrs, the chance to bridge the gap between school and a professional career.
The two-year platform which JBA offers will be a combination of both a trainee program and a performing company.
While the priority will be given to performing, initially with extensive national touring of works specially created for JBA by talented up-and-coming choreographers, there will also be a strong focus on workshops given by first class international and national teachers, coaches and choreographers. The aim is both to further the artistic development of the dancers and to maximize each one’s unique potential, with an eye to guiding them in their career- and networking possibilities as well as their audition choices.
As JBA combines the functions both of a junior company and of a trainee program, it will of necessity be a two-year, fee-paying initiative.
