Il Craft Choreography cerca pezzi brevi di danza contemporanea.
Nuova piattaforma per presentare la danza contemporanea a Vienna. Lo spazio culturale Brick 5 / Turnhalle apre le sue porte alla comunità della danza e offre uno spazio dedicato per mostrare lavori, scambiare idee e socializzare, in un’atmosfera calda e amichevole. Le prime 3 serate della serie si terranno al mercoledì il 9 ottobre il 27 novembre e l’11 dicembre 2019.
Avete un pezzo pronto che vorreste mostrare? Oppure state lavorando a qualcosa di nuovo? Sono benvenute la danza contemporanea e i lavori di performance fisica all’incrocio tra gli stili, le estetiche e i generi.
Le presentazioni devono essere tra i 5 e i 15 minuti di durata (possono essere fatte delle eccezioni).
Devono essere adattate allo spazio e alle condizioni tecniche del Brick 5.
Chi può candidarsi? Sono benvenuti gli artisti di Vienna, dell’ Austria e dall’estero.

materiale fotografico e video
supporto promozionale (é una fase pilota del progetto quindi possono ancora fornire alcun cachet)
Condizioni tecniche:
spazio bianco che offre varie soluzioni di configurazione
pavimento di legno (oppure tappeto da danza grigio)
ottimo soundsystem
piano luci basilare ma capace
2 giorni di prove condivisi con gli altri partecipanti

Craft Choreography are looking for contemporary dance short pieces.
Where: Vienna Brick 5
When: 9.10, 27.11 and 11.12
Deadline for applications: 15.9, 15.10 and 15.11
Welcome to the new and fresh platform for presenting contemporary dance in Vienna. The cultural venue of Brick 5 / Turnhalle opens its doors for the dance community and offers a dedicated space for showing works, exchange of ideas and socializing, in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The first 3 evenings of the series will happen on Wednesdays, the 9.10, 27.11 and 11.12.
Do you have a ready piece that you would like to show? Or are you maybe working on something new? Contemporary dance and physical performance works across all styles, aesthetics, subgenres… are warmly welcome.
The presentations should be between 5 and 15min of length (exceptions can be made).
They have to be adapted to our spatial and technical conditions.
Otherwise, no further rules!
Who can apply?
Artists from Vienna, Austria and abroad are all welcome!

(It is a pilot phase of the project, hence, we cannot offer a performance fee yet)
Technical conditions:
Spacious whitebox which offers various audience configurations
Wooden floor (optionally a grey dance floor)
Great soundsystem
Basic but capable theatre lighting
2 rehearsal/setup days in the space shared with other participants
